Actually it's called the Duncker's (1945) candle problem: On a table before you are a candle, some matches, a box of tacks, a hammer, some string, some pliers, and other objects. Your task is to hang the candle stably on a wall so that the candle burns safely and properly.

This problem is famous not because it's tricky but of different psychological turnouts when those said tools are placed in different way.
