彩虹桥
河东有个老奶奶，河西有个老爷爷。每天老爷爷过河去看老奶奶。
一天，老奶奶做了个大蛋糕，等老爷爷来，等呀等，老爷爷没有来。
老爷爷生病了吗？老奶奶好着急，带上蛋糕去看老爷爷。
老奶奶走到半路，轰隆隆打雷了，哗啦哗啦下雨了，大雨把小桥冲坏了。
老奶奶哭了：“我要去看老爷爷，谁来帮帮我呀？”
雷公公听见，不打雷了；雨婆婆听见，不下雨了；彩虹姐姐听见，架起一座彩虹桥飞来了。
老爷爷、老奶奶又在一起了。他俩多么喜欢彩虹啊

A Rainbow Bridge Story

There were an old Grandma and Grandpa who lived separately along a river. Grandpa crossed the river everyday to visit Grandma.
One day, Grandma made a big cake and waited for Grandpa. She waited and waited, but Grandpa did not turn up.
Was he ill? Grandma began to worry about him and took the cake to see him.
On her way to Grandpa’s house, the thunder rumbled and it began to rain cats and frogs. The heavy rain crashed the bridge.
Grandma cried:“I want to visit Grandpa. Who can help me?”
The God of Thunder heard her words and stopped thundering. The Goddess of Rain heard and stopped raining. The Goddess of Rainbow heard and flied over to build a rainbow bridge. Grandpa and Grandma met again. How much they love the rainbow!
