Extreme Amorousness of Shangguan Wan'er
In Chinese history, Wu Zetian was the sole empress. Shangguan Wan'er, though not conferred a definite title, was actually a female prime minister with real powers, who followed Wu closely and was deeply trusted by her. Such iron-handed women with supreme power are truly rare in the history of China. On the one hand, she was intelligent and gifted, full of learning and literary talent. On the other hand, she was sophisticated in politics, abusive in power and dissolute in private life. Like other characters who climbed up the climax of power, Wan'er was born poor and humble as well. Shuangguan Yi, her grandpa, turned to the wrong side in politics, hence the massacre of his whole family in 664 AD, including Wan'er's father and other relatives. At that time, the poor Wan'er was just born. Before she could enjoy breast-feeding, she followed her mother Zheng into the court and became an "imperial slave". A lucky escape as she was, she was in an extremely humble situation. Her mother strove to bring her up through hard work. Of course, the aristocratic family on the wane were also wise. Her mother attempted every means to let Wan'er receive a comprehensive and rigid traditional education, for it was a capital for her survival later on. The little girl was so clever to learn things quickly and barely at the age of five or six, she could strike off excellent poems.

确实没有艺术水平可言。只是一篇历史文章的翻译，总的来说翻/写得不错，虽然有几处语法错误和用词不当，但总的来说还行，85分吧。说的事情实在平淡，就算是莎士比亚也不能把：我要去上厕所说出诗情画意，富有艺术水平，所以不能太难为这位笔者。说实在的能写出这样英语的人，不管是翻译还是创作，其实也不多就是了。
