Allusion in <Dictionary Sea> is refers to quote from ancident stroy and words within origin source in poem and passage. <Morden Chinese Dictonary> explain allusion for quote ancient story, words and sentence from classical works. Allusion is story and words or phrase. However, it differs from general story, words and sentence, they have its own characteristic.
China has long history, its culture is well-established. Chinese literary allusion implicate distinct literature form and abundant national culture, they are crystallization of a national language and cultural, are concentrated reflection of national individual character. Each literary allusion includes abundant cultural background and vivid historical story.
By using of allusion can not only touch up language, and make it rich and varied, vivid interesting, but also maks people can esay to communicate their thought. Howevere because of the different spcet of nationality's geographical environment, the historical origin, the thinking mode, the religious belief, the national lifestyle the national psychology and exspress way, and most of allusion contain rich connotation, which do not fully show on the literal words, as a result while translating original language into purpose language, these literary allusion are usually mistranslated.
