生命的启示
夏天，朋友从国外归来，送我一件礼物，是根一米来长，拇指般粗细的木棍儿。并说这“神木”是热带的珍贵花卉。手握木棍儿，我一点儿也看不出它“神”在何处。做手杖吧，太短；支窗户吧，太细，于是顺手塞到了床下。
不知不觉已入隆冬。这一天，全家总动员进行大扫除，我负责清扫室内的“死角”。当我搬开床下的纸箱时，一个奇迹出现在我的眼前。那根被我随手丢在床下的木棍儿，竟然生出了五个枣核般大小的绿色芽苞。我慌忙将它插到花盆里。十几天后，芽苞变成了海带般绵长的绿叶，原本干巴巴的一根“光杆儿司令”，如今变成了迎风飘举的绿衣仙子。
望着眼前这株充满南国情调的植物，我不禁为之惊叹：多么强的生命力啊！没有土壤，更没有适宜的阳光、水和空气，只凭借自身的能量，它竟然发了芽，向主人证明了生命的存在，同时也赢得了展示生命价值的机会。此时此刻，我才明白“神木”神之所在，那就是它具有其他任何植物无法比拟的顽强的生命力。
由眼前的神木，我不禁想到了大千世界中的人。每个人的一生都不可能一帆风顺，总会遇到这样或那样的坎坷与挫折。有的人能够正视困难，而有的人却在困难面前垂头丧气，怨天怨地，大叹生不逢时，缺少机遇。倘若人们都能如神木一般，以顽强的毅力面对生活，还有什么样的坎坷过不去呢？与其牢骚满腹，不如踏踏实实地去干，依靠自己的能力向世人证明你的存在。我想，如此持之以恒，机遇女神定会叩响你的房门。到那时，一定会有不少朋友说，你也不是凡人。

Edification of life生命的启示
This summer, my friend came back from abroad, bring me a gift--a stick,which is about one meter as big as a thumb. He said this was a "Magic stick" which is a rare flower in tropical area.Holding the stick, I didn't find it magic.If I used it as a walking stick, it would be too short; if I used it to make the window, it's too thin.So I put it under the bed without thinking.
It has been winter unconsciously. One day, we the whole family were doing cleaning. I cleaned the dead corner in the room.When I moved the paper box under the bed, a miracle appeared in front of me.The stick which I put under the bed casually outgrowed five green buds as big as the stone of red date.I hurriedly inserted it in to a flowerpot.More than ten days later, the buds growed into green leaves as long as kelp.The single stick growed into a green faery that dances in the wind.
Looking at the plant with southland sentiment,I feel shocked.How strong its life is! Without soil,not to mention suitable sunshine,water and air, it germinated only with its own energy, showing to its master the existence of life.At the same time, it gained the opportunity of showing the value of life.At this moment, I understand why it's called "Magic stick" It hsa the dogged vitality that can not be found in any other plant.
From the magic stick in front ofme, I can't help thinking of people in the big big world. In one's life, things will not always going on well,and he will meet some kinds of frustrations。Some people can confront the difficulties, while some others lose their spirits,complaing about everything, not living in the right time and lack of opportunities.If people can live with great perseverance like the magic stick, then what frustrations can't be solved? Rather than complain, we should do something actually, depending on our own abilities, to show your existence to the world.I think, keep doing like this, the Goddess of opportunity will knock at your door.At that time, many friends will say to you" You are not a common person."
