1.You call yourself a free spirit—a wild thing—and you're terrified somebody's going to stick you in a cage. Baby, you're already in that cage. You built it yourself. And it's not bounded in the west by Tulip, Texas or in the east by Somaliland. It’s wherever you go, because no matter where you run, you just end running into yourself.

"Bounded" is another word for bordered, or touched. This is Paul's way of saying that Holly's real problems are in her own head, and not related to where she happens to be on earth.
Tulip, Texas: Holly's hometown. ( a quite small place, you can hardly find it on the map.)
Somaliland: African country that claimed its independence around the time this film was being made. maybe it was in the news all over, probably that's why Paul used it as the east end boundary of the cage.

H: No. The blues are because you’re getting fat or maybe it’s been raining too long. You’re just sad, that’s all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you’re afraid and you don’t know what you’re afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?

"The blues" are a feeling of great sadness or depression, but for Holly, "the mean reds" are a feeling of total fear or horror.

P:"You're no fouer than anybody else."
H:"Yes, you do. Everybody does. And I don't mind. It's useful being top banana in the shock department."

top banana:(n. Slang) The head person, as of a group or project.
If a person is "the top banana" at something, they are the very best at it (This is Holly’s way of saying she likes shocking people, and is very good at doing it).
