Hello my sweet wonderful girl!!! How about your summer? Thank you always for your letters!! I did have a nice weekend. Went out on a bike ride, enjoying the new hobby, still needing more time to improve my skills. Not sure if I told you I got a motorcycle. Went rollerblading for 3 hours on Sunday part of that at the kids skateboard park trying to learn some of the small jumps and turns there, hard to do at my age, hahahahahahaha. Been working almost full time on the new telescope ans simply amazed how much time can be required for some of the simplest chores during construction. Took me 4 hours to drill 4 holes!!! Of course this involved some final design adjustments, locate the holes on 4 surfaces including one steeply curved survace and 6 different sized drill bits to bring it all together. Despite my careful planning, layout and jigs, the holes STILL needed some "adjustments" to get the parts lined up. There seems to always be a learning curve despite experiences from the past!! Lost about 6 hours a week ago due to a redesign and simplification of construction AFTER making all the parts needed for tailstock, focuser mount and several assemblies and dis - a- semblies!!! If I ever sell this scope I am bound to make a lot of money, probably over 5 cents an hour!!! Sheeesh!!!!
The days are perfect, summers here are certanly the best of anyplace in the world. Already can see the days are becoming shorter. It was much darker this morning at 4:26am than just a few days ago. Winter will come much too quickly. Already got my wood in for the winter. Hope you are sleeping well!! A soft kiss for you!!
