1. The Group is firmly committed to conducting its business and working with all stakeholders including employees, customers, suppliers and shareholders in a manner that is lawful and ethically responsible and in a manner that reflects the Company’s values at all times. It will not tolerate attitudes or activities that constitute a breach of law or trust, or infringe collective or individual liberty in any way. This policy formalizes the Group’s commitment to enabling employees to make fair and prompt disclosure to their senior managers of circumstances where the employee genuinely believes that any part of the Group is engaged in inappropriate practices. The policy sets out arrangements for individuals to raise serious concerns about malpractice or wrongdoing in ways which will protect them from retaliation and reprisal.

2. Universal precautions shall be employed when in contact with any blood or bodily fluids, that is assume the blood or fluids are infected with HCV, HIV, HBV etc. and handle accordingly regardless of the perception of risk involved.
The facility shall employ engineering controls to reduce risk to the extent they are appropriate, commercially available and effective. These controls may include needle less devices, shielded needles, blunt needles, self-sheathing needles on syringes, plastic capillary tubes, sharps disposal containers, and Biosafety cabinets. New technology should be evaluated for possible use as a control methodology. Documentation of the existence of new engineering control technology and the decisions made whether to employ such technologies should be incorporated into the annual review of the plan. Potentially exposed employees shall have input into this process.
