有两道关于other的高考题不明白：
1、If you want to change for a double room you'll have to pay （ ）15yuan
A、another B、other C、more D、each
这道题答案选A。想知道A、B之间的区别与用法，希望可以详细讲下，谢谢
2、One of the sides of the board should be painted yellow，and （ ）
A、the other is white B、another white
C、the other white D、another is white
这道题选C。有两点不明白，一是the other与another的区别；二是为什么the other后不用加is，我觉得如果不加is的话那and后面的话不就没动词了？
解答:
一题 A 此句中是固定搭配 再，另外的——another ten days=ten more days B 是 其他的，别的
二题 是省略。并列句中后面分句有与前面相同的部分可以省略以免重复。例如——He majors in English,and i in France.
