too...to...不是“太...而不能..”的意思吗？
这句话为什么是“他很乐意让他们走。”的意思？是因为多了一个only吗？还是因为什么？

1.某些形容词与too...to连用，表示肯定意义。在本结构中，too相当于very或very much.这类形容词有表示心情的如：ready ,glad ,pleased,surprised,delighted,happy,eager,anxious,will,thankful等。也有描述性的形容词，如good ,kind,ture等。
2.在too...to前加上only,but,all,simply或just时，此结构表示肯定意义。此时too带有赞赏的感情色彩。
3.too...to结构和never,not连用时，表示肯定意义，意为：非常，不会不。
如：She was too surprised to see how angry Mary was.
They are all too satisfied totake the opinions of others.
他们都乐意接受别人的意见。
She will be only too pleased to help you.
她极高兴帮助你。
