What is the difference between 'arbeiten in der Uni' and 'arbeiten an der Uni'?

Ich arbeite in der Uni. Would be the answer to the question "where is your office?"
Ich arbeite in der Uni - 我在大学里面（！）工作。What I want to say is "in der Uni" really stresses that it is inside the building of the university. But as mentioned above, you would usually rather say "ich arbeite an der Uni".
