In December 2006, I won second place in the Contest to Design Electronic Magazines on the History of Universities Titled " Impressions of Chinese Universities".

Before the contest began, I consulted a variety of our university’s historical resources provided by the Office of the University Archives Reference and Information Services and visited several teachers who have witnessed the changes taking place within the university and wrote down all the relevant information. Besides, I processed the information and produced electronic magazines. (Firstly, I made template files, then edited materials and finally added music, sounds and special effects to videos.) In December 2006, I formally entered the contest. ( I lectured widely, and introduced my work to the public.)

In 2005, I joined the Students’ Union of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at South China University of Technology as a Writing Specialist. During this time, I got my articles published on many websites. During 2006-2007, I created two issues of departmental journals named Passionate Years (Annual Journal). During the 2007 winter vacation, together with my professors at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, I attended the debate organized by the Nanshan Science and Technology Forum. In addition, I was responsible for doing static web pages design for the website for the first Chemical Engineering Design National Challenge held in South China.
