Animal Intelligence as I See It
Do animal intelligence exist? We cannot make a conclusion. But from some examples, we can feel it.
One day, I watched a program about animal. In the program, one animal trainer trained some sea-lions arithmetic. After some instruction, the trainer asked the sea-lions to do the arithmetic themselves. Of course, it was not a one-day work. So at first, the sea-lions couldn’t do it. But after a period of time, it was amazing that they can solve all the questions without difficult and mistake. How could they do that? Maybe some people would say that this was conditioned reflex. They said the sea-lions remembered the style of the numbers and the results. But they didn’t know the meaning of what they did. But what did this mean? This meant they could think and they could remember something. Even if they just want to get some food from the trainer.
Is animal intelligent? Maybe they are intelligent in their own way.

Animal Intelligence
Does animal intelligence exist? We cannot make a definite conclusion. However, we do acknowledge it from certain facts.
For instance, I watched a program about animal trainers teaching sea-lions arithmetic one day, and was stunned by the interesting result. After some critical tutorship the sea-lions recieved, the trainer asked the sea-lions to repeat arithmetic themselves. This was not a one-day work, obviously, for the sea-lions couldn’t do it the first time. But after a period of time, the true miracle happened. In everyone’s amazement, the bright creatures solved all the questions without a single mistake or any difficultly.
Although true, many people might say that this was simply a conditioned reflex, that the sea-lions only remembered the style of the numbers and the results. But they didn’t know the deeper meaning behind it. Animals are able to think, and they certainly could memorize, even if their motivation was just to gain food from the trainer.
Are animals intelligent? The answer is crystal clear.
