My name is ***, and my English name is **. I am studying in a four-year college in Xiamen. I feel great honored to be a student majored in medical care in English.
When I was an senior student, what I studied about English was just the basic skills of language. Referring to doing research, one thing I have done is gathering information, or collect materials, which is just a very tiny part of research. I quoted a lot from sourses when writing my graduation thesis, but without questioning the opinions I read. As we know, the first step of research is to raise questions. No question, no research. So facing with research , I feel a little complex, because I’m fear of it and also loving it. As for loving, I think my personality or character allows me to sit down and read a lot of books, for I’m a person of introvert. On the other hand, so many years’ study life in teaching system has made me a machine accustomed to accept all kinds of knowledge but too lazy to question. I hate such system, which lays much emphasis on tesing knowledge or skill. But as a common person, I feel a little reluctant to free myself of an old habit which needs less thinking and hard working. I do not allow me to make my teacher and myself down!
