Mr Mammoth,the president of acme lce,was an important man.Acne Lce was an important company,one of the biggest in the country.
Thousands of Acme Lnc.were in The Acme Building.This was one of the tallest building in the city .It had fifty floor.
One day a man came to see him.He walked up to Mr Mammoth's secretary.She was,of course,the most beautiful secretary in the company.
"My name is John Watkins,"he told her ,"I have come to see Mr Mammoth.My appointment is at ten o'clock."The most beautiful secretary in the building looked at the clock on the wall.It was the largest clock in the company
"It is ten o'clock now,"she said "you are on time for your appointment. however,I an afiard you cannot see Mr Mammoth."
John Watjins was surprised.
"Oh?"Why is that ?"He asked
"Mr Mammoth is palying golf"
"Oh"John Watjin said ,"Then he won't be coming to his office today."
The most beautiful secretary in the company smiled at him
"Mr Mammoth's already here"she said "He has the largest office in the world"

Acme大厦有50层楼，是其所在城市最高建筑之一，公司上千名员工就在大厦里办公。
一天，某人去见Mammoth，他先找到了秘书（当然，这位秘书也是公司里最漂亮的一名秘书），对她说：“我叫John Watkins，我是来见Mammoth先生的，我们约定的是10点钟。”秘书看了看挂在墙上的钟（全公司最大的钟），说道：“现在已经10点了，你很守时，但是，我恐怕你还是见不到Mammoth先生了。”
John感到很奇怪，问道“为什么啊？”
“Mammoth先生正在打高尔夫球。”
“那他今天是不会来办公室了。”John说
秘书对他笑了笑，说“他已经来了，要知道他的办公室是全世界最大的办公室。”
