Abstract:The first two chapters introduces the development of digital mapping and some basic conceptions.In the third chapter the usage of electronic tachometer and mapping software CASS5.0 will be discussed.The fourth chapter will emphasize on the practical works including the collection of outdoor data as the first step followed by the data processing indoors.All works were under the direction of Professor Zhang Feng.The fifth chapter deals with the quality evaluation and inspection of digital mapping,and the sixth chapter is the conclusion.
