In china, there is a word of "Xusui", it means the nominal age of one person. Usually, the nominal age is one years older than the actual age, and some times, the nomianl age is two yeras older actual age. Why is it has a big difference? Please let me tell you the method of calculating the nominal age of China.
When one is born, it is 0 years old, and after one year, at the first birthday of the person, he will be 1 years old. But in China, he is 1 years old( nominal age) when one is born, and after the Chinese Lunar New Year (not the birthday), he will be 2 years old. For example, if one was born at 30 December in Chinese Lunar calendar, he will be 2 years old at the 2nd day. Although he is only 2 days old (0 years old), he is 2 years old of "Xusui". now the diffrence between the actual age and the nominal age is 2 years. So, if one was born at January, the difference is 1 year.
