Good afternoon, Ladies and gentlemen.
Today I am so glad to be here to tell you an interesting story. And it's also a meaningful story. I hope you 'll like it.
Well, there was a young lady at the airport, waiting for her flight to some place. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed by some reason and she had to wait for another 2 hours. In oder to kill her time, she bought a magazine and a bag of cookies and sat down on a long chair and began to read the book.
Suddenly a man came by and sat beside her. In the middle of the chair, laying is the cookie bag. The young lady began to enjoy her cookies. But to her surprise, once she took one cookie from the bag, the man sitting beside her took one cookie as well. She was going to be angry. She thought this man was so impolite to her, daring to eat her cookies without asking. However, highly education made her keep calm and smiling.
As the things went on, one cookie left in the cookie bag. The lady was intersted to know what the man would do with it. To her astonish, the man took the cookie and cut it into 2 pieces and handed her one half. Nothing could make her be so angry like that.
She stood up immediately and walked away with anger.
After she got on board and sat down in her seat, she suddenly realised there was a bag of cookies in her handbag, without being opened up. The cookies she just ate didn't belong to her.
What a shame on herself. And she felt so sorry for her impertinence and highly respected the man who could share his belongings with a stranger.
