可以promist somebody to do something
i promised my son to take him to Italy in the summer.
i promised my daughter to buy her a grand piano if she passes her Grade 9 piano certification.
但不能说agree somebody to do something 因为agree是不及物动词，只能说agree with somebody that (subject) will/would/can/etc do something:
i agree with you that we should drive to school today because it's too cold to ride our bikes.
i agreed with her that i'd take her shopping this weekend.
