农民工是改革开放的产物，是中国现代化过程中出现的特有现象。随着农民工队伍的不断壮大，他们对城镇的贡献越来越得到社会的认同。农民工在就业、社会生活、社会保障等方面普遍存在劣势，导致农民工处于城镇社会的底层位置，这阻碍了其自身的现代化进程。本文主要指出农民工问题的重要性与解决的必要性，最后有针对性地提出在解决农民工问题的一些构想和对策。

Migrant workers are a product of reform and opening up and a unique situation in China's modernization process . As the rank of migrant workers has grown, their contributions to cities and towns are more and more accepted by the society. However,migrant workers are usually inferior in employment, social life, social security and other aspects ,witch make migrant workers lay in the bottom of the urban and social.Also that has hindered the modernization process. This essay pointed out the importance of the issue of migrant workers and the need to resolve, and finally put forward in solving the problem of migrant workers and the response of some ideas.
