Northerm Monterey,particularly the santa lucia highlands and arroyo seco appellations,provides an iderl climate with warm days and cool afternoon winds.Our estate loma vista and sanrmento vineyards are planted with the dijon and pommard clones from the Burgundy region of France.The grapes are fermented separately in small,open-top tanks in wich the cap is “punched down”inorder to delicately extract color without creating excessive tannins.San Simeon pinot Noir is a rich,fruit-driven wine whith ripe flavors of black cherry and raspberry.the mouth is soft and round with a lingering finish .aromas of bright red fruit,cinnamon,and oak spice are revealed on the fragrant nose.
