Lost and Gained
得与失，这是每个人都回避不了的事实。每个人都希望得到多，失去少。但事情都有两面性，在得到一件东西的同时，往往会失去另一件东西。例如，作为一名即将毕业的大学生，往往会面临考研或者直接工作的抉择。很明显，这是不可能同时得到的两件东西，得到一件，必然失去另一件。再比如一个商人，他要选择把自己的金钱投入到一个行业中，这时也必然会失去在其他行业获取利益的机会。 既然要想得到就必须失去，因此人们在面临得与失的选择时，要清醒地认识到哪些是自己想要的，否则就会失去的更多，甚至只有失没有得。

Nobody can avoid the reality of loss and gain. Everyone in the world wants to gain more and loss less. However, there are two faces for each decision made. At the same time when you get a thing, you may loss other possibilities. For instance, every university student before they graduate will face the question of whether to go directly into the job market to earn a good living, or to go to graduate school continuing further study. Obviously, these are the two things you cannot reach at the same time. If you gain one, you must loss others. Businessman needs to make decision of how to invest his money. He may decide to put his money into one industry, at the same time, he loss the opportunity and potential to make money in others. If one wants to gain something he also will loss others. Therefore, during the major decision of how to treat the future gain and loss, people need to realize which one will have more impact to their future gain. Otherwise, one may loss more without any gain.
