tide本意就是潮汐，海浪，作为另外两个词的近义词是一种比喻说法，就好像中文里的“流行的浪潮”，“一股英文热的浪潮”， 等等
trend就是规律，走向，趋势，是一个总结
tendency是倾向，是一种印象
a trend is the tendency of one element to change relatively to another element

assembly就是一群人聚在一起，重点在于assemble,”聚“

conference也是一群人聚在一起，重点在于交换意见，confer的意思是给予，交换，对比

meeting的重点在于meet, 就是一群人人meet在一起，
a conference is an event where people have meetings and exchange ideas. if it is unfinished at the end of the day, people would go home and re-assemble the next morning.

seesion意思有点广，其本身就是一个”片段“，比如一堂课，一个学期，一起打牌打麻将，都可以叫一个session, 当然也包括一段会议。
