He is a man of character. A gentleman with a mien unique to a Middle Age priest that seems so distinguished today. There are so many reasons to like him that one can not even single one out,just a feeling that could be understood but beyond any expression. You could not force that feeling out of one who does not possess it. nor could you ask those who possess it to tell. As to me, the professor,instead of H,is the most unfortunate one. A deep person, keeping everything within his brain, usually provokes deep consideration. And what impressed readers is often not the most handsome, or the most brilliant or popular character, on the contrast, it is one likes him.
