大学生活真正的开始是以军训的结束为标志的。大学的每一个事物，一花一草每一棵树对我们来说都是新奇的，经过军训的磨练后，学校的生活显得那么美好：有可口的饭菜，有热水供洗漱，还有最重要的是学习环境。每天都能在宽敞的教室里学习。大学的学习的确与中学有很多区别，自觉不自觉全靠自己。但大学的学习并不轻松。我们除了要尽快适应生活，还要马上适应不同的学习方法，可我们乐在其中，因为大学带给我们的不仅是知识，还有机会来锻炼能力——适应环境的能力、自主学习的能力、与人交往的能力等等。所以我们不会选择逃避。漫步在大学校园的林荫下，听着广播站传出的美妙音乐，看着行色匆匆或轻松休闲的大学生走过，想着将要面对的大学的一切。有句话说：“你怎么对待他人，他人也会这样对待你。”在大学里就是这样。如果你友好地与人交往，别人也会友好地与你交往。宿舍是最基本的单位，每位室友就是你的“家人”。我们大都已经喜欢管宿舍叫“家”了，因为那样更亲切。大家在一块畅谈一直到很晚，这是我第一次体味到的集体生活。虽然是第一次远离家门，远离父母，但我并不孤单，因为有同学，有大学的一草一木陪伴我，就是这感觉，好似奶茶的淡淡香甜。

Campus life began when military training ends. Be it a flower, a stem of grass or a tree, everything is a brand new experience for me in the University campus. It is so nice living on campus : the meals are so delicious, there is hot water for washing and bathing, and most important of all, an ideal environment for studying. Everyday we can learn and study in spacious classrooms.

Surely there are many differences between university education and studying at high school. How much one can achieve depends mainly on how much effort one devotes into the work. I am sure that university learning will not be easy for me. Apart from the necessity to adapt to the living conditions as soon as possible, there is also the need to getting used to the different style of learning. Surely we will be enjoying it because what we can expect in the next few years is not merely acquisition of knowledge, but also the opportunity to train ourselves – in the areas of adaptability, self-reliance and communication skills. That is why we will not choose to avoide the challenges ahead. Strolling under the shades of big trees within the campus, listening to soothing music broadcast by the campus radio station, watching fellow students walk by in hurried or leisure paces and thinking about the future laying ahead of us.

There is a say of “How you would be treated depends on how you treat others”. This is good reflection of university life. If you show friendliness to others, you can expect to be treated in a friendly manner. The dormitory is the basic unit. Every roommate is a member of your family. We all like to refer the dormitory as our “home” because it gives us the warm feelings of such. This is my first experience of living collectively and I enjoy chatting away with my roommates till the early hours. Although it is the first time I am away from home and away from my parents, I do not feel lonely at all because I have so many new friends. And I also have the companionship of every plant and every tree within the university. This exact feeling reminds me very much of the fade aroma of a nice cup of tea.
