They don't want to pressure me into something I'm not ready for,you know?
"pressure"为名词,这里不是应该用动词修饰me吗?这一块儿不是谓语动词的地方吗? “into something”在这句是干嘛的?是为了连接左右两边?如果去掉它呢?
When I told them we had broken up,they just asked if I was doing OK.
"doing"在这句是干什么的?作用?这都是什么成分?
I said I 'd be fine. "'d"指would? 怎么用原形"be"?难道因为“would”?would是情态动词?
Just before we broke up they had started to hint that it was time for me to "settle down".
"started to"是什么意思,什么成分?只是had hint 行吗?
还有啊,给我一点忠告吧。学习语言的忠告。

解答:
pressure 也可以做为及物动词。into something是笼统的一种说法,这里不能去掉,因为后面的i'm not ready for是修饰something的
they just asked if I was doing OK. 他们只是问我是否感觉良好。这里的i was doing OK只是一种习惯的用法,例如:She asked me if I was doing ok or feeling tired
'd这里是would,would+动词原形
"had started to"是已经开始的意思。如果用had hinted是暗示过的意思,和作者要想表达的意思有出入
