Tiananmen Square located in the centre of Beijing, which is the capital of the PRC.
Situated on the south side of the Palace Museum,it lies opposite the Tiananmen Square across the Changan avenue.
It was the gate of royal city for both Ming and Qing Dynasty.
In 1st,October,1949,the founding ceremony for the PRC was hheld there, from then on , the Tiananmen became the symbol of modern China, and it was designed on the national emblem.
