【摘要】经济周期是指经济发展过程中按相近的时间长度出现的经济增长速度的波动，可划分为四个阶段，即繁荣，收缩，萧条，扩张。它是不以社会制度为转移的，资本主义存在经济周期，社会主义也存在经济周期。我国的经济周期相对于西方来说有着明显的不同。本文从建国以来的经济增长率及其波动情况着手，进而分析了我国经济波动的特点和原因，并对经济波动的走势作出了展望。

【Abstract】Economic cycle refers to occurences of the fluctuation of the economic growth rate according to the similar length of time during the economic development process. This period may be divided into four phases, namely,prosperity, shrinkage,depression and expansion, and to this point, there is no difference for diverse social systems. That means that there exists an economic cycle of capitalism, so does socialism. However, China's economic cycle has distinct dissimilarity relative to the Western society. Based on the economic growth rate and fluctuation statistic evidence having been collected since the foundation of our country(People's Republic of China), This article has analysed the characteristics and causes of our country's economic fluctuation, and made a prospect of the trend of economic fluctuation.
