最好开头是这样写: we are regretful that.....

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lin,

Hope your are well !

We want to apologise for the container failing to arrive at the previously agreed time. What is more annoying to us is that we have been informed by XXX Company that you have already taken delivery of the container on 6th May. In any event, please be assured that we are well aware of the situation and we understand you have not done so.

At the moment, we found out through another shipping company that the container should arrive at XXXX on 17th June and we anticipate that it will arrive at Panama on 20th June. Moreover, all 3 containers will arrive at the same time.

If you have any further questions in this connection, please contact either XXX's representative office at Panama or directly our company. Once again, we appreciate your kind understanding of this matter.
