上古汉语匣母与见母的相关性

上古汉语“见、溪、群、晓、匣”五母，向来被看成是关系十分密切的一组声母。但从大量的材料来看，匣母与见母的关系更为密切一些。虽然不能硬性地把匣母归入见母，但匣母字中有很大一部分是由见母转化而来大概是一个事实。从大部分匣母字有见母的读音和很多见母字又有匣母的读音来看，见匣两母的关系是十分密切的。
