The novel ‘Daisy Miller’ doesn’t have a complicated plot. Handsome American youth Mr. Winterbourne lived in Europe for a long time. At the little picturesque town of Vevey in Switzerland, he came across Daisy Miler, who was the daughter of a rich American businessman. Daisy was a young, beautiful, captivating girl and immediately she took Mr. Winterbourne’s fancy. Although the wise and mature nobleman was fond of studying female mind, he made little sense of what the girl was thinking. Later in ancient city Rome, these two young people once again met together. But Daisy’s behavior and the mode of talking made Mr. Winterbourne more confused. Until Daisy suddenly sickened and then she was dead, Mr. Wentepen appeared to have a better understanding.
