But the latest large performance,“Love,”an acrobatic (杂技的) scene on the music of the Beatles at the Mirage, has created a Vegas version of Beatlemania (披头士狂).It mixes sounds from original recordings and films with beautiful lights and shadows and a lot of strangely dressed people floating around on wires, cords and other devices.

To drink in the Strip, many people head to the Stratosphere Tower, a 1,149-foot spore(锥形体) that has a restaurant near the top. But the center of the Strip offers an appealing alternative, the Eiffel Tower of the Paris Las Vegas hotel.It’s close to the tower.But at 460 feet, half as tall as the real thing,you get all the view of the Strip.It is even more fascinating at night, and $ 9 gets you to the top.

Buy something at the Fashion Show Mall—one of the largest malls in Nevada, with some 250 stores. But if you have a little money left, hit the Las Vegas Shopping Center, which has 130 stores, including Nike, Adidas, and 11 home-furnishing stores.
