,please look at the mountain over there.That is Lishan mountain,a small part of the Qinling Mountain Range.It about 10 kilometers long and more than 1000 meters high.You can see that it is covered with lots of trees and looks very much like a big black horse from a long distance.In the ancient time,people called the black horse "Li",so because of this,Lishan mountain got its name.Lishan mountain used to be a volcano,so it have the undergrond heat and bring us the hot spring.Our Huaqing pool is located at the feet of the Lishan mountain and also above the hotspring.
First of all,i'd like to give you some brife introductions of the Huaqing pool.Historically,dring the Zhou Dynasty,the emperor bulid a stone pool and give the name Lishan Tang.In the Han Dynasty,the emperor build a palace on it,called Li Palace.Times go to the Tang Dynasty,the emperor Taizong made it rebuilt and change the name called Hotspring Palace.The emperor Xuanzong made it more beautiful and much bigger.Since that time,this place was called the Huaqing Palace or the Huaqing Pool.But,unfortunitily,the beautiful Huaqing Palace was destroied by the war which happened at the end of the Tang Dyansty.So what we could see today is just a small part of the orginal ones.It is divided into three parts.First one is the Crcle Garden;second one is the Museum of the Roral Imperial Pools of the Tang Dynasty;third one is the Nine-dragon Pool and some beautiful constructions of the Tang Dynasty.
OK,let's start our sight-seeing.Please follow me this way.We are now at the first part-----Crcle Garden.It is a set of construction of Qing Dynasty.In our modern Chinese histroy,a very important historical event happened at here,that is the famous Xi'an incident.On september 18th,1931, the japanese invade us,they took possession of three povinces northaest of China.At that time there are two party in China ,one is the CCP(Chinese Communist Party),another one is the Koumintang.To be the president of China and the leader of the Koumintang,Chang Kaishek,he didn't want to fight aginst with the invader,he insist that before fighting with the invader he must destroy the CCP.The civil war started.In december 1936,Chang Kaishek came to here to made a big plan in order to destory the CCP immediately.At the same time,two general of Koumintang,Yang Hucheng and Zhang Xueliang,they just realized that this kid of things will make the situation of China more intensive and every Chinese people must get together to fight with the Japanese invader.So they plan to do something to make the persident to change his mind.In the early morning of december 12th,1936 ,they start the Xi'an Incident.Finally,they seize the persident and make him to stop the civil war and unite all the chinese to fight with the invader immediately.On the next day,a head of CCP Zhou Enlai come to meet the Chang Kaishek to end the incident peacefully.The CCP and the Koumintang united together to defeat the invader.That is the Xi'an Incident an
