C Music chooses Eutelsat’s EUROBIRD™ 9 satellite to carry its programming in Europe.

C Music - C for Classical, C for Cinema and C for Chillout. This channel started in England and broadcasts exclusive music videos 24 hours a day, covering 3 different themes: classical music, original movie soundtracks, and “chillout-lounge” music.

Fashioned like a “pop” channel on the basis of short segments or sequences, C Music is the new shop window for Symphonic Classical Music, adopting a unique approach totally different from the way in which the subject is normally treated.

C Music announced its arrival on Eutelsat’s EUROBIRD™ 9 satellite (9° East) beginning on 30 October 2007. This is a newly rebranded satellite in the Eutelsat fleet and will make the channel available to the bouquets of the cable, satellite and IPTV operators for delivery in Portugal, Romania, the Czech Republic, the Baltic countries and elsewhere. C Music has chosen the THEMA Company as its sole agent for distribution worldwide and has already negotiated. C Music’s availability in Asia by arranging for the channel to be transmitted on Eutelsat’s W5 satellite (70.5° East).
