不定式做目的状语，因为hold是主语的动作，用主动形式

2.I have a lot of work__to do__today.

A.do B.doing C.be done D.to do
这里是不定式做定语，当不定式做定语，并于主语或宾语有一定的主谓或动宾或动状等关系时，不定式要用主动形式（一般都有，所以一般都用主动形式...)此题中to do和work有动宾关系,to do a lot of work.

3.How many times have i told you__not to play__with fire?

A.not play B.not to play C.not playing D.don't play
前面I told you 中已有谓语told,那么后面要么就是从句,要么动词就得用非谓语,很明显如果是从句的话没有主语,排除AD,表目的要用不定式,所以选B

4.When we arrived,we found him__died__.

A.was dying B.dying C.died D.die
同理要么是从句要么是非谓语,同理排除AD,表状态用过去分词,所以选C

5.It's very kind ___of__you___to come__.

A.of,to come B.for,to come C.to,coming D.for,coming
表人的品格,礼貌等方面的形容词一般于of搭配,那么就排除BCD了
而原因状语一般用不定石,你念起来也是不定式比较通顺是吧
