“嫦娥一号”总设计师、总指挥叶培建日前在浙江理工大学作题为《“嫦娥一号”与深空探测》演讲时透露，“嫦娥”探月二期工程已开始着手进行，关于载人登月方面，中国并无任何计划。

叶培建在演讲会上把“嫦娥一号”拍摄但未公开发表的最新照片赠予浙江理工大学，照片包括20日拍摄的第一幅三维图象、第一幅条图、十多个坑图以及各种平面图、高空图等。

叶培建说，在第一阶段完成“绕”月飞行的基础上，第二阶段“嫦娥”将实现“落”入月球表面。二期“嫦娥”飞行过程将不同于一期，而是从发射段直接进入地月转移阶段。

他表示，目前正对首次地外天体软着陆、突破月面巡视技术、掌握月夜生存技术等主要技术难点进行技术攻关。二期工程将通过研制月球着陆器和巡视探测器、建立地面深空站，着陆探测器将“登陆”月球，并释放一辆小型月球车对月表进行探测。二期工程将主要探测月球的形貌和地质构造，调查月表物质成分和可利用资源，研究月球内部结构，并探测日、地、月空间环境这四大科学任务。预计整个二期工程将在2015年前完成。
