With its implementation, 97% of Mexican exports to Bolivia became tariff free as did 99% of Bolivian exports to Mexico. The maximum period for tariff elimination is 12 years starting from a maximum tariff of 10%. In the case of agricultural and agro-industrial goods, the maximum period is set at 15 years.
