一、present这里是形容词,意思是:在场的,出席的，到场的，作several hundred peopel的后置定语。注意某些形容词如：present（出席的;在场的）, absent（缺席的）等表示特定含义时作定语时要后置。该词作到场的、出席的这一意思时，且作定语时，就要后置，但作当前的、现任的等意思是常不后置。请看例子进行比较如下如：
The people present are students. 在场的人都是学生。
The present situation concerns all the students present.

二、get是“让、使、使得，使变得”的意思
get sb或sth+过去分词或形容词,过去分词或形容词作sb或sth的补语，意思是使得某物或某人……（使得某人或某物处于某种状态）
posted就是过去分词，post委派,派走，这里的意思是打发走，posted就是被打发走。I must definitely get that fellow posted的意思是我一定得让那家伙滚蛋。又如：
got the children tired and cross; got the shirt clean.
把孩子们弄得疲惫而且恼怒；把衬衫洗干净
get sb或sth后面还可以带现在分词、动词不定工、副词、介词结构
等。如：
get lunch for a crowd.
