中小企业技术创新在我省的经济战略中有着重要地位，中小企业技术创新对我省中部崛起有着重要的支撑作用。本文首先探讨了湖北省现阶段中小企业在技术创新活动中存在的现状，如技术创新水平不高、经营者文化程度低、企业技术人员少、投资主体和产权主体向多元化转变等。其次分析了湖北省现阶段中小企业在技术创新活动中存在的主要问题。本文最后针对这些问题在结合我省中小企业实际并借鉴国内外先进经验的基础上提出了解决这些问题的有关对策。

SMEs（small and medium-sized enterprises） technological innovation plays an important role in our province's economic strategy. SMEs technological innovation plays an important supporting role our province's strategy of “the rise of Central China”.Firstly this article studies the status quo of the technological innovation activities of small and medium enterprises of Hubei Provice at this stage, for example,the level of technological innovation is not high, the level of education of operators is low , technical personnel of small enterprises is not enough, investors and property owners diversifies and so on. Secondly this article analyses the main existing problems in the process of. technological innovation activities of SMEs in Hubei Province at this stage .Finally ,it, pointing to these problems, provides countermeasures for solving these problems on the basis of with integrating our province’s SMEs practical situation and learning from foreign advanced experience on the basis of the solutions to these problems countermeasures.
