In the morning of May 22, 2007, the first winter holiday social survey lecture was held by IBS in the teaching building in Zhuhai campus. Twelve teams with different styles showed their PPT about the report.

First of all, Secretary Zhang Wenbiao emphasized that the aim of this activity was to impove the students’quality and to cultivate their abilities of communication, expression and summing up. Later, the teams from Guangzhou, Heshan, Chaoshan and so on, showed their production of social survey with strong hometown characteristics.

At last, the subdecanal made a conclusion that the highlight of the lecture was that from the report, she could see the earnest and well-knit attitude of the students and their abilities of disovering questions and showing the productions. She advised that the report should be more professional and nomative and the topic should be idiographic and pratical. After the judges graded and audience voted, Jumping minced beef balls, won the prize for the best popularity and the prize for the superior. Besdes, Kmppqs, Nan Mountain men, and six people’s trip to zp, won the first, the second and the third place respectively.

Last but not least, the subdecanal(不认识这个词) concluded that she could recognize the students with the earnest and most well-knit attitude and she also amazed of their abilities of discovering questions and skills of presentation. Moreover she suggested that the reports can be more professional and normative, and the topic should be more idiographic and practical. After the judgers graded the marks and audience voted for the team they wish to win, the winner of both ‘the best popularity’ and ‘superior’ is ‘Jumping minced beef balls’. Besides, ‘Kmppqs’, ‘Nan Mountain men’, and ‘six people’s trip to zp’, won the first, the second and the third place respectively.
