Magnet has a “Courier point”:

Courier point is also called Courier temperature or magnetism transformation point. It means the temperature at which the self-magnetic strength of magnetic material drops to zero degree and such point is the critical point at which iron magnetism or ferrous magnetic materials transform to paramagnetic materials.

By the end of 19th century, famous physicist Courier found in his own laboratory a physical property of magnet. When the magnet was heated to certain temperature, its original magnetism disappeared. Later, people called this temperature “Courier point”. Different materials have different Courier points, iron: 1040K; cobalt, 1390K; nickel, 630K.

If magnet is put in boiling water, at about 373K, since it does not reach the Courier point of magnetic material, there is no impact on magnetism.
