The other day, I took it upon myself to write a letter to the editor of Star regarding the need for black history in Canadian schools. I thought that I was suggesting something useful and constructive. Silly me!
The very same day the letter was printed, I received a call from a man who was sure that it was his duty as a (n) white man to tell me that my idea was extremely bad.
