这里没错。survive 可以作不及物动词的。“存活”“to continue to live or exist”。这里in the accient，只是状语。你把他提前，In the accident Peter survived when ...。而且在这个不及物动词用法里，一般是以物为主语，后面还可以加from/in等介词。表示“依然存在”，如 Several buildings in the town have survived from medieval times.
