我只能说用排除法
这里是独立主格结构，主语是a gown,物，所以后面应该是被动，这样好像是A C D都排除了。但B选项虽然是被动，结构却错了。dress作动词表示穿衣，是dress （sb） （in sth）。也就是说dress和衣服之间需要介词连接，对衣服并不直接及物。B选项的dressed也不对。
这样只能回头看已经被排除的A C D .put on 穿戴，表动作。这里不管主动被动都不合适。wear 穿戴，表状态，如果主语是句子主语，为“人”，那么才可以用wearing.
最后只有D going on。虽然排除法可以选出，但我并不知道go on 这里的用法和意思。。
